At NCRMA we know that consumers and retailers alike have to be prepared for the weather. From the mountains to the coast, the old North state experiences snow and ice storms, hurricanes and tornadoes. These types of severe weather and possible natural disasters can have a detrimental impact on business operations. NCRMA has secured a seat at the table in the Governor’s Operations Center and continues to work with the state’s Emergency Management Office to collaborate more closely with the retail community maintaining clear lines of communication and ensuring we are using all information in the most efficient way possible.
